New! Keynote Speakers

Previously serving as both the Deputy Director and Acting Director of CIA, John McLaughlin is the Distinguished Practitioner in Residence at the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University. In this role, he teaches, conducts research, and engages in conversations across media about intelligence and foreign affairs. Starting his career as a U.S. Army Officer in the Vietnam War and dedicating much of his life to service in the CIA, Mr. McLaughlin has experience in analysis, clandestine operations, and technology as it relates to almost every corner of our globe. He is a recipient of the National Security Medal, among several other awards.

 

Major General (MG) Mary-Kate Leahy currently serves as the Assistant Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence for the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-2. Prior to her current role, MG Leahy spent time as the the Commander of the 108th Training Command; the Director of the Army Reserve Engagement Cell and the Deputy Commanding General of the Mobilization and Reserve Affairs in Germany. Her joint assignments include Director of the J-2 at the U.S. Southern Command and Chief of the Joint Document Exploitation Center in Iraq. MG Leahy is the recipient of the Defense Superior Service Medal, among other honors.
