Acquisition Management Council
The Acquisition Management Council (AMC) works to improve the IC's ability to procure and oversee high-end services contracts effectively, efficiently, and with agility. An acquisition process that rewards innovation, quality, and performance would improve the health of the industrial base on which the IC depends for expertise and support, thereby enhancing both national security and economic growth. Principal objectives include:
- Provide actionable recommendations to make acquisition of services more effective and efficient
- Advise IC leadership on the impact of acquisition policies on private sector support to the IC mission;
- Improve the marketplace for the benefit of both government and industry; and
- Strengthen the partnership between government and the industrial base.
