Robert Goodson is a Senior Vice President at Booz Allen Hamilton who supports defense and military intelligence clients worldwide. Based in the National Capital Region, he focuses his expertise to providing intelligence support to our nation’s warfighters.

Robert has 30 years of leadership experience in the military and industry. Prior to joining Booz Allen more than 20 years ago, he was a military intelligence officer in the U.S. Army, spending 8 years on active duty and 4 years in the Army Reserve. He held leadership and intelligence positions in tactical, operational, and strategic organizations with service in the United States, Middle East, Central Asia, and Northeast Asia.

Rob serves on the Advisory Committee for the Intelligence and National Security Alliance and advisory boards for Virginia Tech. He is a certified executive coach. He is also a leadership author, having published Lead with Mercy: The Business Case for Compassion in 2015.

Robert holds an M.A. in diplomacy with a concentration in international conflict resolution from Norwich University. He earned a B.A. in foreign languages (German) and political science from Virginia Tech, where he also earned his commission through Army ROTC and the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets.
