Melanie Corcoran

Melanie is a distinguished and an accomplished results driven technology and business leader with more than 25 years of experience running highly complex R&D programs, connecting people and creating new technology visions, roadmaps, and implementation strategies.  She is a highly sought-out consultant and adviser for new high technology start-ups. In this role, she helps with fund raising, government and commercial business development, go-to-market strategy development and dual product development.

As both an industry leader and previously a senior government official, she worked for and supported the various Intel agencies, JSOC, DARPA, and DoD components as well as the private sector to include new commercial start-ups.

She possesses an extensive and invaluable network in both commercial and government domains for all components of the new space economy, geospatial, and cyber communities.

Melanie also has deep expertise in the landscape and players for Artificial Intelligence as well as key operations related technologies for stealth. Technology development thrusts are hardware and satellite repurposing via advanced algorithms, infrastructure, architecture, data distribution for edge and standard networks, operationalization of novel solutions to enable critical information delivery autonomously to the customer, algorithm development for AI across spectrum (RF/SAR/EO etc.), disparate data sets, and time; and securing the cyber supply chain.

Melanie was Los Alamos National Lab Guest Scientist for over 10 years. She is an Adjunct Professor for IQM Research Institute (www.iqmri.org).  She is PMMC and was COTR Level 2 certified. She holds a BA in Environment Science from the University of Virginia (1996) and an MBA in Finance & Technology Development from USC Marshall School of Business (2001).
