Major Daniel Kiser

Major Daniel S. Kiser is currently serving as the Deputy Director, Learning Sciences and Faculty Education, Squadron Officer School, Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama. He provides mentorship and instruction for faculty within a selectively manned organization of instructors and students as part of Squadron Officer School. Squadron Officer School provides Professional Military Education to over 16,800 US Air Force Captains, international officers, and Department of Defense civilians annually. 

Major Kiser gained his commission in 2011 through the Reserve Officer Training Corps at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He has served as an intelligence officer in many capacities, enabling operations for flying, Tactical Air Control Party, Army, and Air Operations Center Staff units across Air Combat Command. 

Maj Kiser has deployed in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM at the 455th Air Expeditionary Wing, Bagram AB, Afghanistan where he served as Chief of the Combat Intelligence Cell in support of MC-12W, F-16, A-10, C-130, HH-60, and EC-130 operations. Additionally, during follow-on deployments, he oversaw Target Development on behalf of the Combined Forces Air Component Commander and provided hands-on training for 3d Cavalry Regiment, 1st Brigade (Bastogne), 101st Airborne (Air Assault) Division, and 18th Airborne Corps in support of Operation INHERENT RESOLVE.
