Yvette Cesario currently serves as Managing Director for National Security at Amazon Web Services. She has been a dedicated advocate for the National Security community for over 18 years, consistently prioritizing mission-critical needs and driving innovation across leading technology companies.
Prior to AWS, Ms. Cesario spent seven years supporting the US Intelligence Community at Cisco Systems, where she played a pivotal role in various network modernization initiatives. In 2014, she joined AWS as a founding member of the AWS National Security Team, where she has been instrumental in facilitating the Intelligence Community’s strategic adoption of commercial cloud services.
As Managing Director, Ms. Cesario continues to champion mission-relevant innovation, actively sponsoring cutting-edge work in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Generative AI, and agile ground systems. Her leadership ensures AWS remains at the forefront of supporting the National Security Community's next-generation resilient architectures. She is a strong advocate for the adoption of commercial technology across government by strengthening public-private partnerships and collaboration with industry partners and academia.
Ms. Cesario is a proud graduate of Rice University, where she earned a double Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Managerial Studies while serving as Captain of the Rice Volleyball Team. She currently resides in Virginia with her husband and four children.
