Richard Durand is a Client Executive Vice President with AT&T, leading business activities across the National Security and Foreign Affairs sectors. He oversees a multidisciplinary organization responsible for delivering advanced technology solutions and services focused on network transformation, infrastructure modernization, wireless communications, and mission-critical technologies that support global operations and mission success.

In this role, Mr. Durand is responsible for business strategy, growth, customer engagement, operational performance, and execution of complex programs and services. He works closely with government and industry leaders to align technology investments with mission priorities and evolving operational requirements.

Throughout four decades with AT&T, Mr. Durand has held technical, program management, operations, and executive leadership roles spanning commercial and U.S. Government markets. Over the past 27 years, he has focused exclusively on the National Security sector, including more than a decade spent working directly alongside customers on their premises. His experience spans a broad range of technologies supporting enterprise and mission operations including communications networks, mobility, cloud and hyperscale computing, data analytics, artificial intelligence, content delivery, and next-generation digital infrastructure.

Mr. Durand holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Networking and a Master of Science degree in Management. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and served for 10 years in the U.S. Navy Reserve as an Aerographer's Mate (AG), Aviation Meteorological and Oceanographic Analyst, supporting mission planning and operational decision-making across Naval Aviation, Oceanography, and Naval Weather Service missions worldwide.

He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Intelligence and National Security Alliance (INSA).
