Matt Scott is the President of Apira Federal, the public sector-focused subsidiary of an emerging technology company operating at the leading edge of augmented reality, computer vision, 3D rendering, machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI). His expertise includes delivering and scaling emerging technologies and data-driven mission capabilities for national security clients. He is also a trustee and treasurer of the Intelligence and National Security Foundation (INSA/INSF) and an advisor to multiple national security-focused companies.
An Army intelligence veteran, Matt has significant experience successfully navigating the private equity lifecycle. Matt previously served as the US National Security and Intelligence Business Unit lead for QinetiQ US and Avantus Federal. He joined Avantus through the acquisition of the company he co-founded and led, MissionTech Solutions, a provider of multi-domain cloud engineering and development solutions.
Matt is a voice for change in how the US Intelligence Community leverages technology, open sources, and its workforce.
