Lindsay Rodman

Lindsay Rodman is currently Associate Deputy General Counsel for Intelligence in the Office of the General Counsel at the Department of Defense and a Distinguished Professorial Lecturer in Law at George Washington Law School. Earlier in her career, she was an active duty Marine, serving as an operational law attorney while deployed to Afghanistan, Deputy Legal Counsel to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and a White House Fellow, placed at the National Security Council as Director for Defense Policy and Strategy, among other assignments. She remains an officer in the Reserves. After leaving the Marine Corps, Ms. Rodman served as the Special Assistant to the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel & Readiness and as a senior advisor in the Pentagon working on international humanitarian policy. She is also a seasoned nonprofit executive, recently serving as the Executive Director of the Leadership Council for Women in National Security (LCWINS) and previously as Executive Vice President at Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA). She began her career at Arnold & Porter LLP in Washington DC and is a graduate of Duke University, Harvard Law School and the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
