John Lombardi

Mr. John Lombardi assumed the duties as the Associate Director of Intelligence for Analysis and Integration for the U.S. Space Command in May 2025. In this role he directs and oversees the intelligence support for the Combatant Commander, Command, and Component Command planning and operations, coordinates Command operations with IC activities, and integrates Al/ML technologies into space operations. He also serves as the Senior Intelligence Advisor and Director, Compartment Access Program Coordination Office for the Command.

Previously, he served as the Command's first Senior Defense Intelligence Analyst managing all intelligence production for the Combatant Command. He served as the Associate Deputy Director of National Intelligence for Mission Integration overseeing all operations of the directorate. He also served as the Co-Chair of the Community Resource Integration Board. Mr. Lombardi served as the Assistant Director of National Intelligence for Mission Performance, Analysis, and Collection and the IC Executive for Identity Intelligence. MPAC integrated IC collection and analysis, evaluated IC mission performance, and developed innovative intelligence capabilities to respond to mission challenges and opportunities. He was designated the first National Intelligence Manager for Transnational Crime, Homeland, and Western Hemisphere integrating IC efforts across the Western Hemisphere, the polar regions, within the United States, and globally to combat transnational crime. He previously served as the Deputy and Acting National Intelligence Manager for Europe and Eurasia integrating IC activities in and across the European and Eurasian continents.

At NATO, he established and served as the first Head of the NATO Intelligence Unit, providing integrated intelligence to the North Atlantic Council, the NATO Military Committee, and the Supreme Allied Commander - Europe. He also served as a Principal of the NATO Intelligence Steering Board, the Head of the Terrorist Threat Intelligence Unit, and the Head of the Intelligence Liaison Unit.

At the National Counterterrorism Center, he served as Chief of the Analytic Advancement Group, where he worked across the CT community to improve analysis and targeting support to national civilian and military decision makers and operational planners. He was posted to NATO Headquarters, Belgium, as the NCTC Liaison Officer.

At the Defense Intelligence Agency, Joint Intelligence Task Force - Combatting Terrorism, he completed assignments as the Chief of the Pentagon Support Branch and Chief of the lraq Branch. He deployed as the JITF-CT Liaison Officer and Chief of the Terrorist and Foreign Fighters Team, Multinational Forces-Iraq.

Mr. Lombardi began his career at the U.S. Southern Command, Joint Intelligence Center, where he served as the Center's Deputy Chief/Senior Intelligence Officer for both the Transnational Issues Division and the Regional Assessments Division.
