Jim Edwards leads SOSi’s growth organization and is responsible for customer relationships across the intelligence, defense, and federal civilian markets. He has supported the United States’ national security for four decades in the military, civil service, and industry.
A retired Army intelligence Colonel, Jim commanded a battlefield surveillance brigade in Afghanistan, served as the senior intelligence officer (G2) for the Army’s largest command (U.S. Army Forces Command), and was awarded three Bronze Star Medals and the Purple Heart. Jim’s civil service includes assignments at the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command and as a military analyst at a federal intelligence agency where he briefed members of the National Security Council staff and wrote items for the President’s Daily Briefing.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce from the University of Virginia and four master’s degrees in Business Administration, Strategic Intelligence, Military Operational Art, and National Security Studies. Jim is also a joint qualified officer (JQO) and a distinguished graduate of the National War College.
