Lieutenant Colonel Jeremy Leader has concurrent 22 years of military experience in civil engineering and cyberspace operations, along with 18 years of government civilian experience in space acquisitions and 6 years in industry designing Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems for wind tunnels, fueling services, co-generation power facilities, and commercial refineries across the globe.

He is currently in an Active Guard & Reserve position as a Legislative Liaison for the Office of Secretary of Defense, Comptroller (OSD(C)), Budget and Appropriations Affairs (BAA). As a government civilian, Mr. Leader is the Deputy Director, Commercial Space Office (COMSO), Space Systems Command, United States Space Force (USSF), enacting the paradigm shift to “buy before build.”  Previously, he was Deputy Director, Cross Mission Ground and Communications Enterprise and the Air Force lead for Committee on Foreign Investment in the U.S. (CFIUS) investment reviews.  He was a Network Warfare Squadron commander and has previously deployed multiple times in support of world-wide operations.  He currently has six degrees, ranging from Aeronautical Science to Cybersecurity, and enjoys watching, playing, and coaching ice hockey.
