Dr. Dylon Young is the Deputy Chief Data Officer for the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), bringing more than 20 years of experience advancing data strategy, enterprise modernization, cybersecurity, and mission‑critical technology transformation across the Defense and Intelligence Communities. He leads agency‑wide efforts to elevate data as a strategic asset, strengthen analytic readiness, and improve interoperability across mission partners. Previously, Dr. Young served as the Division Chief for IT Infrastructure Systems with OUSW(I&S), where he oversaw Zero Trust implementation across specified DoW networks, secured multimillion‑dollar technology investments, and represented the Department in evaluating Cross‑Domain Solutions. His earlier DIA roles include serving as the CIO Senior Representative to the U.S. Strategic Command and leading major initiatives in business‑system modernization, redundant IT capability for mission critical systems, and global mission‑system integration. Dr. Young holds a Doctor of Ministry from Sioux Falls Seminary, an M.A. in Biblical Studies from Grace University, and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Oklahoma.
