Base-2 Solutions, LLC
Dylan Leckie is the Founder and majority owner of Base-2 Solutions, a woman-owned national security company supporting the U.S. warfighter and Intelligence Community. She founded the company at age 27 and built it organically to eight-figure annual revenue through disciplined execution, technical credibility, and long-standing customer trust within a highly regulated and traditionally male-dominated defense sector. She has led the company through multiple growth cycles within an evolving defense market, positioning it for sustained performance and strategic relevance.
Dylan began her career supporting a rapid prototyping initiative for U.S. Naval Forces immediately after undergraduate school. She established Base-2 with a focus on applying science and technology to strengthen intelligence analysis and operational decision-making. While working full time in support of the Department of Defense, she earned her master’s degree from Georgetown University.
Her leadership style is collaborative and grounded in accountability, operational rigor, and measurable mission impact. She prioritizes building high-trust teams and aligning customers, partners, and employees to deliver durable outcomes in complex environments. As modernization accelerates across the defense community, Dylan is focused on integrating artificial intelligence and emerging technologies to modernize analytic intelligence and improve decision velocity within secure environments.
She has received multiple regional business leadership awards recognizing organizational growth and performance and has spoken at national security forums on innovation and small business leadership. Dylan resides in Old Town Alexandria with her daughter and is a devoted mother who values discipline, resilience, and service rooted in a close bond with her grandparents.
