Dan Reese is the Chief Engineer, Network Defense, Fellow for Cyber programs supporting the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), United States Postal Service (USPS), and Cyber Inside within the Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems Business Unit. Dan leads the delivery of cybersecurity solutions and professional services that encompass traditional/cloud enterprise IT programs and industrial control/weapons OT programs. He is also a Lockheed Martin fellow for corporate cybersecurity.

In his time in the industry, Dan has held various positions of increasing responsibility in National Leadership Communications, Computer Network Defense/Attack, Security Operations Center (SOC)/Security Intelligence Center (SIC), Cybersecurity Mission Relevant Terrain in Cyberspace (MRT-C) critical infrastructure defense. Prior to his current role, Dan was the Program Manager for Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), Defense Information Systems Network (DISN) Global Service contract. In that role, Dan led a global workforce that executed cybersecurity services in support of DISA’s Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP) mission protecting over 400 DoD subscriber enclaves connected to the DISN.

Dan is a retired United States Naval Officer who served in some of the most demanding roles within the Navy during his distinguished 28 years of Naval service. He is a graduate of the Navy and Marine Corps Line Limited Duty Officer program and holds a number of Cybersecurity and Defense Acquisition University (DAU) certification.
