Cory Everington is the Head of CACI's DarkBlue Intelligence Group, spearheading efforts to equip law enforcement, the Department of Defense, and the Intelligence Community with cutting-edge tools for dismantling criminal networks. With over a decade of experience in artificial intelligence and software development, Cory brings extensive expertise in dark web exploitation and analysis to her role. Recently recognized as the winner in the Rising Star category at the 26th Annual Women in Technology Leadership Awards, she is also a dedicated mentor, collaborating with universities to recruit and support women in STEM fields.
In her current role, Cory oversees the strategic direction and operational management of CACI's DarkBlue Intelligence Suite, a SaaS product focused on dark web analysis and managed attribution. At Bluestone Analytics (now part of CACI), she progressed from Machine Learning Architect to Director of AI, and then to Head of Data and Operations. In these roles, she developed explainable AI models, managed multiple AI projects, and oversaw the collection and processing of data from various dark nets.
Prior to her work at Bluestone, Cory was a Data Scientist at Elder Research, where she led projects involving data pipelines, anomaly detection for fraud cases, and text mining for workload prioritization. Her experience also includes five years as a lab technician at NC State University's Genomic Sciences Laboratory, where she managed terabytes of genomic data. Cory has two Master's degrees: one in Analytics from NC State and another in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
