In this role, Christy is responsible for maintaining Peraton’s safety and security. She also develops security strategies, risk

management initiatives, incident response preparedness, and safety protocols. Her commitment helps enable Peraton’s mission and mitigate risks, ensuring personnel, assets, and resources are protected.

Prior to joining Peraton, Christy founded Wilder and Associates, where she served as a strategic consultant for executives in the security field. During her time as chief security officer (CSO) at Maxar Technologies, she oversaw the enterprise wide security program. In 2021, Christy began her vice presidency at Leidos, where she was the security director for their intelligence and space groups.

In addition to her roles in the private sector, she has served in multiple high-level positions within the federal government. In 2019, she joined the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency as a deputy director. She was also the deputy director and chief of staff for the National Background Investigations Bureau (NBIB). In 2016, she became the deputy of the NBIB transition team and principal advisor to the Director of National Intelligence after previously serving as a legislative liaison and oversight branch chief overseeing governmentwide security processes.

Since joining Peraton, Christy has continued to distinguish herself as an industry leader. Her bold vision and strategic leadership were recognized by Washington Exec, which named her a Top CSO to Watch in 2025. Christy serves on the board of directors of the Intelligence and National Security Alliance (INSA) and is the Professional Services Council (PSC) representative to the National Industrial Security Policy Advisory Council (NISPPAC).

She earned a Bachelor of Science in psychology and a Master of Science in general and theoretical psychology, both from

Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina.
