Ms. Christine L. Bordine assists the DIA Director to execute DIA’s mission and managing a global multi-sector workforce of more than 16,500 dedicated to providing unparalleled all-source intelligence, collection and technical insight to warfighters, commands and defense policy makers.

Ms. Bordine’s career in the Intelligence Community includes assignments at the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), DIA and the National Security Agency. As well as tours supporting J2 elements at European Command, US Cyber Command and United States Forces, Japan and the International Military Staff at NATO, HQ in Brussels, Belgium. She began her career at NSA as a voice language analyst in 1988.

In 2004, she briefly worked in the private sector for Northrop Grumman supporting CIA and standup of the ODNI for Collection (ODNI/C).

Returning to government service in 2006, she worked on the ODNI/C staff, helping to establish the Office of Technical Means, later serving as the Assistant Deputy Director of National Intelligence for Technical Collection. In 2012, she completed a joint duty assignment to DIA leading the Collection Management Enterprise Office and was responsible for establishing the collection management career field and Department of Defense (DoD) collection management policy.

In 2012, Ms. Bordine joined the DIA team as an officer, serving as the Vice Deputy Director for Collection Management and the Vice Principal Deputy Director for Intelligence Integration, where she helped to establish the integrated intelligence centers. Beginning in 2015, she served as the Deputy Director for Intelligence at U.S. Cyber Command responsible for delivering intelligence support to cyber operations.

She rejoined NSA in 2018 and served as the Directorate of Operations Chief of Staff and the Deputy of Information and Intelligence Analysis. Most recently, she served as the Deputy Director, Directorate of Capabilities, where she led a global multi-sector workforce responsible for building, deploying, authorizing, and securing the information technology infrastructure and services that underpin every facet of the NSA mission.

Ms. Bordine was selected for the Senior National Intelligence Service in 2008 and the Defense Intelligence Senior Executive Service in 2012 and is a 2017 Presidential Rank Award recipient. She holds a BA in Russian from New Mexico State University, an MA in National Security Studies from Georgetown University, and is a Certified Executive Coach.

Ms. Bordine and her husband have four adult children and a cantankerous basset named Rosie.
