Amy Heald is the Chief of Staff for the Office of the Director, Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) since January 2025. Ms. Heald joined the IC in 2010 and has served at CIA, as well as the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) and the National Security Council (NSC). Her previous assignments include serving as CIA’s Chief of the Microsoft 365 Program, Chief of Cloud Strategy, and as a Collection Management Officer in the Counterterrorism Mission Center.
While at ODNI, she served as Deputy Chief of Staff as well as Data Exploitation Chief and Big Data Portfolio Manager at the National Counterterrorism Center.
In her free time, which is limited these days, Amy enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, two young kids, an energetic dog and needy cat.
