Adam Scheer is a seasoned national security professional and dual-track leader with extensive experience across paramilitary/intelligence operations and defense technology. Mr. Scheer is a Program Director within the Special Activities Growth division at Saronic Technologies – a leading autonomous vessel developer and manufacturer.
Mr. Scheer’s foundational leadership was forged in the U.S. Navy SEAL teams, where he served as a Platoon and Squad Commander at SEAL Team 5. His distinguished military career includes leading counter-ISIS operations alongside various U.S. and foreign defense organizations, as well as conducting high-consequence human intelligence operations in the Philippines and Afghanistan. He remains active in the Naval Reserve as a Commander (O-5) with SEAL Team 18.
Mr. Scheer also previously served as a Paramilitary Operations Officer (PMOO) with the Central Intelligence Agency, where he managed covert action programs and collected foreign intelligence vital to national security.
Complementing his operational background, Mr. Scheer holds a B.S. in Biology from Binghamton University as well as an MBA in Finance from the NYU Stern School of Business. His private sector experience includes a tenure as an Investment Banking Associate at Bank of America’s Global Corporate Investment Bank in New York City. Mr. Scheer lives in Purcellville, VA with his wife and infant son.
