Call for Nominations: INSA Board of Directors
INSA is now accepting nominations for the 2027-2029 Board of Directors!
Why Serve?
INSA works to find collaborative solutions to our nation's most pressing national security challenges, and that work depends on dedicated, experienced leaders willing to guide it. Serving on the Board means:
- Help set the direction. Serve in a governance role with influence over where INSA and its work go next.
- Grow your network. Work directly with senior leaders across government, industry, and academia who are tackling these challenges alongside you.
- Put your expertise to work. Help guide the programs and priorities that matter most to the national security community.
Board Service Expectations:
- Maintain INSA membership at the Small Business, Academic, Gold, Platinum, or President's Circle level (or be willing to upgrade)
- Serve a three-year term from January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2029.
- Attend four meetings each year (in-person and virtual)
- Actively serve on at least one Board committee
- Champion member recruitment and retention efforts
Deadline to Submit Nominations: Thursday, September 10, 2026.
Who Should Apply?
We’re looking for experienced, engaged executives, who are INSA members in good standing who bring the strategic insight necessary for these volunteer leadership roles. We are committed to a Board that reflects the full diversity of our membership and the broader national security community.
