A January 2020 White Paper, Same but Different: Security Clearances for Contractors and Government Employees, by INSA's Insider Threat Subcommittee, discovers two critical differences between the Continuous Evaluation processes of contractors and government: consideration of social media and personnel security information sharing. The paper reveals the findings of the Subcommittee's research into theses differences and makes recommendations to promote the adoption of more uniform processes across government and industry.
