INSA is excited to welcome six newly elected members to the 2020 Board of Directors! Keep reading to find out more about their backgrounds, expertise, and personal IC/INSA favorites.

Tony Frazier, Maxar

Tony Frazier joined Maxar as the Executive Vice President of Global Field Operations in 2017. Previously, Mr. Frazier served as President of Radiant Solutions and Senior Vice President, General Manager of DigitalGlobe's Services business. He holds a Bachelor's degree for Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA with distinction from Harvard University. 

"As a relative newbie to the Intelligence Community, I appreciate how INSA provides a forum to learn about how leadership is responding to emerging threats and opportunities. I was sold on the value of INSA after attending my first National Security Forum at the Gaylord and continue to be impressed with the role it plays as a catalyst for Government, Industry, and Academia."

  

 

Peder Jungk, BAE Systems, Inc. 

Peder Jungk is the Vice President and General Manager of Intelligence Solutions within the Intelligence & Security (I&S) sector of BAE Systems, Inc. Before taking on this role, Peder served as the I&S sector's Chief Technology Officer and Chair of BAE Systems, Inc.'s Engineering and Technology Council and had previously served in other key technology leadership positions for SAIC. 

He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Beloit College in mathematics and computer science. 

"I value INSA membership as it provides the opportunity to engage and learn from the community INSA has developed, providing insight and thoughtful perspectives in a complex and changing environment. Attending the William Oliver Baker Award dinners to recognize those whom have served the community has led to incredible memories."

  

 

Michael LaRouche, SAIC

Michael LaRouche is Executive Vice President and General Manager for the National Security Customer Group at SAIC. Before joining SAIC, he served as Vice President at Raytheon for 10 years. Michael has a Master's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Colorado and a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan. 

"My favorite thing about INSA is that it brings thoughtful context to pressing national security challenges.  The public/private network created by INSA enables passionate leaders to learn and contribute. I have benefited from my association with INSA, and I am excited to join the Board of Directors where I can serve an organization that serves so many."

  

 

Leigh Palmer, General Dynamics Information Technology

Leigh Palmer is the Sector Vice President for the Defense Division at GDIT. Previously, she served as GDIT's Senior Vice President for the National Security Division, supporting programs in the homeland security and intelligence communities. Before joining GDIT, Ms. Palmer was the Executive Vice President for the intelligence group at CSRA and held multiple senior-level positions at Northrop Grumman and BAE Systems, Inc. 

Leigh has a Bachelor's degree from Virginia Tech and a Master's Degree from the University of Pennsylvania.

"My favorite INSA memory is catching up with old friends and industry colleagues at leadership dinners and the Baker Awards dinners."

  

 

Jennifer Walsmith, Northrop Grumman Corporation

With 30+ years of experience in both the private and public sectors, Jennifer Walsmith currently serves as Sector Vice President and General Manager, Cyber Intelligence Mission Solutions at Northrop Grumman. She has also worked at the National Security Agency (NSA) as the Senior Acquisition Executive and as part of the U.S. Comprehensive National Cyber Initiative (CNCI). Jennifer was also a member of the Undersecretary of Defense Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics (USD AT&L) Senior Integration Group and the ODNI Acquisition Council. 

"My favorite INSA memory was connecting with old friends and colleagues to celebrate the Baker Award dinner in honor of Leon Panetta."

  

 

Howard Weitzner, Accenture

Howard Weitzner is currently a Managing Director in the Intelligence Community at Accenture Federal Services, but he has held various titles over his 27 years with the company. His experience is mainly focused in the Federal Market including the civilian and defense sectors, with a particular interest in the intelligence community. Mr. Weitzner earned a Bachelor's degree from Washington University in St. Louis.

Welcome to the Foundation's newest addition! Mr. Scott has been an avid supporter of the Foundation over the years and we are thrilled to have him on board. 

Matt Scott, MissionTech Solutions

Matt Scott is the co-founder and CEO of MissionTech Solutions where he has led cloud engagements reshaping the way the IC uses the Internet. He is also a long-time INSA leader, previously serving as Chair of the Intelligence Champions Council. Matt started his career as a military intelligence officer in the US Army, including time as the Department of the Army’s liaison to Congress for intelligence issues and deployed time leading unmanned aerial vehicle operations.

Vinny Corsi, Insider Threat Subcommittee Chair

Vinny Corsi is currently the Threat & Fraud Solutions Manager, National Security and Justice at IBM Federal Analytics, where he has worked for almost 15 years. Before joining IBM, he held several executive leadership positions related to computer software and information systems. Mr. Corsi earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Electrical Engineering, a Master's in Information Systems from George Mason University, and a Graduate Degree for Homeland Security from Georgetown University. 

Vinny was previously the Vice Chair of INSA's Insider Threat Subcommittee. 

  

 

Jennifer Sovada, Intelligence Champions Council Vice Chair

Jennifer Sovada joined MissionTech Solutions as the Chief Futures Officer and Senior Vice President and General Manager for the Defense Market in 2019. Previously, she served as the Head of Talent Management for Air Force Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance, and Cyber Operations. Among a long list of degrees and qualifications, Jennifer has a Bachelor of Science degree in Behavioral Science from the United States Air Force Academy and Master's degrees from the Joint Military Intelligence College, the Naval War College, and The United States Army War College. 

  

 

Sue Steinke, Insider Threat Subcommittee Vice Chair

Sue Steinke has been the Director of Government & Industry Relations in the Risk Decision Group at Perspecta since Perspecta acquired KeyPoint Government Solutions in 2018. Prior to working in the private sector, Sue served with the Department of Air Force as Chief of the Plans and Programs Division as part of the 544th Intelligence Surveillance & Reconnaissance Group. Prior to this, she held several industry leadership positions in information technology, preceded by several years with Central Intelligence Agency. She holds a Bachelor's degree from Colgate University in Political Science. 

 

  

 

Cameron Ward-Hunt, Intelligence Champions Council Chair

Cameron Ward-Hunt is a director in the National Security practice at Guidehouse. He has more than 20 years of experience in national security and intelligence, having also worked for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency before joining Guidehouse/PwC Public Sector. Mr. Ward-Hunt earned his Bachelor's degree from Boston University and Master's degrees in Management and Business Administration and a PhD. in Public Affairs from the University of Colorado. 

Cameron was previously the Vice Chair of the Intelligence Champions Council.
