Program Outlook

Join more than 1,000 of your colleagues for a week of engaging panel conversations, an inspiring keynote, and a special fireside chat! Speakers will share their career journeys, talk about the barriers they've broken through, and discuss the importance of empowering women in the IC. Split into five different sessions, this virtual program will run one-hour each day for the week of July 12-16. 

Connect with your colleagues! On Thursday, July 15 we will host an in-person outdoor networking reception for New IC attendees to make connections and build relationships.

Female Trailblazers in Intelligence & National Security (Monday, July 12 | 2:00 - 3:00 pm ET)

A panel of “firsts,” these women will share their experiences breaking down barriers in their careers and offer advice to those following in their footsteps.

A Discussion on Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity in the IC (Tuesday, July 13 | 2:00 - 3:00 pm ET)

This panel will focus on what can happen when we prioritize diversity, inclusion, and equity. Leaders will come together to share ideas, explore issues, and talk about how the intelligence and national security communities can better empower underrepresented groups.

Empowering the Next Generation of Female Leaders (Wednesday, July 14 | 2:00 - 3:00 pm ET)

Many successful people will attest that having a mentor is critical when it comes to building a career. Panelists will share their thoughts on the power of mentorship and tell viewers how they are serving as mentors, creating opportunities for young women.

Keynote with LTG Mary O'Brien, USAF (Thursday, July 15 | 2:00 - 3:00 pm ET)

LTG Mary O'Brien, Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance, and Cyber Effects Operations, USAF, will deliver brief remarks about her career journey and the importance of collaboration between men and women in the IC. After, former PDDNI, The Hon. Sue Gordon, will moderate a Q&A session, taking questions from the audience throughout the online session.

Networking Reception (Thursday, July 15 | 5:00-6:30 pm ET)

After LTG O'Brien's keynote, join us in-person at the Grand Cru Wine Bar (4301 Wilson Blvd #100, Arlington, VA 22203) for a networking reception. Build new relationships or reconnect with colleagues you have not seen in a while!

Rain or shine! Weather permitting, the reception will be held outside. In the case of inclement weather, the reception will be moved indoors.
