Join us online Tuesday, March 15, 1:30-2:30 p.m. ET for a Leadership Luncheon with Vice Admiral Robert Sharp, USN, Director of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA).

This virtual program will begin with brief remarks from Vice Admiral Sharp, followed by a moderated discussion with The Hon. Sue M. Gordon. Topics of discussion include an update on the agency's strategic plan, current priorities, and ways in which NGA is harnessing new technologies. Plus, there will be ample time for audience Q&A!

About VADM Robert Sharp 

VADM Robert Sharp is the seventh Director of NGA, a role that he assumed in February 2019. Prior, ADM Sharp served as Commander of the Office of Naval Intelligence and as Director of the National Maritime Intelligence-Integration Office. He also spent time as the Director for Intelligence (J2) at U.S. Special Operations Command and commanded the Joint Intelligence Center, U.S. Central Command. A career Naval Intelligence Officer, ADM Sharp's operational tours include deployments with USS Ranger (CV 61), Carrier Air Wing 2 embarked on USS Constellation (CV 64), and Carrier Group 2 embarked on USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75).

 

About the Moderator 

The Honorable Sue M. Gordon's extraordinary three decades of public service culminated with her tenure as PDDNI from 2017-2019. Prior, she served for two years as the Deputy Director of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) and for 27 years at the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), where she held senior executive positions in each of the Agency's four directorates. In 1998, Ms. Gordon designed and spearheaded the formation of In-Q-Tel, a private, non-profit company that accelerates the development and delivery of cutting-edge technologies to national security agencies. Sue is currently pursuing her continued interest in strategy, technology, security, and leadership, offering her expertise to a number of organizations, including Microsoft Corporation.
