Intelligence & National Security Summit – Classified Day

Following the Intelligence & National Security Summit on September 4 and 5, 2018, INSA and AFCEA International will host a series of classified sessions at the TS/SCI level for Summit registrants with an appropriate clearance. Classified Day will take place at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency on Wednesday, September 12, 2018.

Registration Instructions

You must be registered for the September 4-5 Intelligence & National Security Summit and hold an active, final granted Top Secret/SI/TK clearance in order to attend this event. Register at

Registrants for the Intelligence & National Security Summit will receive a special confirmation with access to Classified Day registration link. You must must register separately using this link to attend the Classified Day. Read below for instructions on clearance information.

Clearance Information

Attendees must be U.S. citizens and possess a minimum active, final granted Top Secret/SI/TK clearance. Interim clearances are not accepted by NGA.

Attendees with IC blue or green badges do not need to pass clearances. Please verify with your badging office that your IC badge is enabled to work at NGA facilities.

If you do not have an Intelligence Community Blue or Green badge, you must submit a clearance certification message to the NCE Workforce Support Center by your Agency’s Special Security Officer (SSO) or Contractor’s Facility Security Officer (FSO).

Clearance Deadline: September 5, 2018

Timely passage of your clearance is important. If your clearance is not passed as required, you will not be able to attend. Choose of the following methods of passing clearance certification messages to NGA:

If sending by fax or email, the clearance message must be on official letterhead and include the following:

Full name (Last Name, First Name, Middle Initial)
Social Security Number
Date of Birth
Country of Citizenship
Agency/Company Name

Date(s) of Visit: September 12, 2018
Your social security number and date of birth are required by NGA as part of the security clearance verification process and also for facility access.

Access to NGA

All event attendees will be required to show a valid state** or federal issued photo identification (i.e. driver's license, state identification card, passport).

**Please note, NGA adheres to policies related to the REAL ID Act. The REAL ID Act is a federal law that created a national standard for state-issued driver's licenses and requires federal agencies to apply new rules for individuals entering their facilities. The 11 states and territories that currently have noncompliant driver's licenses are: Alaska, American Samoa, Arizona, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Massachusetts, Montana, New Jersey, Northern Marianas and Oklahoma. Alternate forms of acceptable identification include: U.S. passports, DoD Common Access Cards, U.S. federal government identification cards and credentials.
