Our speakers, Marie Falkowski, Chief of Digital Innovation, Weapons and Counterproliferation Mission Center, CIA, and Dr. Eliahu Niewood, VP of Intelligence & Cross-Cutting Capabilities, MITRE will examine how government and industry can leverage emerging technologies to support IC mission imperatives from remote settings.

Underwritten by Avantus Federal and moderated by Sr. Editor Lindy Kyzer, the discussion will examine the promise and limits of these emerging remote technologies, commercial and government best practices that the IC can learn from, and how this technology can enable the national security enterprise to hire and retain top tech talent.

About the Speakers:

Prior to her current position, Ms. Falkowski served as the CTO for the Open Source Enterprise, where she transformed CIA’s OSINT technical stack by leveraging commercial technology and private industry best practices, and aligning those to meet mission needs.

In this role, Niewood leads coordination and collaboration across MITRE's intelligence and national security portfolios to shape major cross-functional and joint multi-agency initiatives.  He leads MITRE in applying systems engineering, technology expertise, and innovation to help the intelligence and federal law enforcement communities improve mission effectiveness, integrate across agencies, and drive greater operating efficiency. Niewood has directed MITRE's work in developing a new generation of command and control technology for the Department of Defense, in addition to leading MITRE's efforts in helping the national security community use emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence, to solve critical mission problems.
