Member/Gov'tThe COVID-19 crisis has revealed shortcomings in critical supply chains, from pharmaceuticals to microelectronics. With a focus on technologies, parts, and products that are needed for U.S. national security, speakers will discuss how reliance on foreign suppliers, just-in-time delivery, and networks of subcontractors impacted supply chain reliability and how such challenges might be alleviated after the pandemic.

Meet the Panelists
Jennifer Santos serves as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Industrial Policy (IndPol). In this capacity, she is the Under Secretary's principal advisor for analyzing the capabilities, overall health, and policies concerning the industrial base on which the Department relies for current and future warfighting capabilities. IndPol is also responsible for developing the Department’s position on the business combinations and transactions, both foreign and domestic, that shape and affect national security.
Mike Gordon serves as Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for Lockheed Martin Corporation. In this capacity, he is responsible for the organization's overall information security strategy, policy, security engineering, operations, and cyber threat detection and response. Currently, Mr. Gordon serves as the Chairman of the Defense Industrial Base Sector Coordinating Council (DIB SCC) for the protection of critical national infrastructures
Austin Evans oversees Risk Management in Intel's Global Supply Chain organization. Key responsibilities include business continuity, supply chain security, Intel’s contingent worker program and all other aspects of supply chain risk management. Previously, Mr. Evans spent 13 years in various finance management roles within Intel.
Brandon Daniels is President of Global Markets at Exiger. In this capacity, he leads assessments of the design, deployment, and operational management of financial crime compliance systems and technology. Mr. Daniels also leads Exiger’s AML surveillance and transaction monitoring systems,tuning and optimization engagements with major financial institutions.
Jeffrey Scott Miller is a Managing Director with Accenture Federal Service where he is a Client Account Lead in Accenture's Defense Agencies sector. He is also responsible for Accenture's Management Consulting Operations (Supply Chain) practice. Mr. Miller has over 31 years of supply chain management experience in a wide variety of fields including planning, fulfillment, and sourcing and procurement.
