The U.S. Coast Guard Intelligence Chief, Rear Admiral (RDML) Andrew Sugimoto, is joining INSA for Coffee & Conversation on Tuesday, March 16, and you should, too! About Rear Admiral Andrew Sugimoto
Admiral Andrew Sugimoto is the U.S. Coast Guard Assistant Commandant for Intelligence. In this position, he leads the efforts of over 1,100 intelligence professionals, covering collection activities, analysis and production, geospatial intelligence, counterintelligence, cryptology, and critical IT security functions. Prior, Admiral Sugimoto served as the Chief of Staff of the Eighth Coast Guard District. Serving more than 12 years at sea, his afloat assignments included Commanding Officer of USCGC STRATTON, CGC ACUSHNET, and CGC TYBEE, as well as Deck Watch Officer on CGC SHERMAN. Admiral Sugimoto's staff and ashore assignments have included Chief of the Response Division at the First Coast Guard District; Chief of the Incident Management Branch for the Ninth Coast Guard District; and Staff Judge Advocate for the Ninth Coast Guard District, among others.
