About MG Charles Cleveland 

Major General Charles H. Cleveland, USA, became the Associate Director of Operations for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) in January 2019. MG Cleveland is a career Military Intelligence Officer, having served since 1989. His assignments have included the 82nd Airborne Division, the 75th Ranger Regiment, the U.S. Army Office of Military Support, and the Joint Special Operations Command. He commanded as a Captain, Major, Lieutenant Colonel, and Colonel and held staff positions in both tactical and strategic assignments. Most recently, MG Cleveland was the Vice Director for Intelligence, Joint Chiefs of Staff. MG Cleveland is a recipient of the Defense Superior Service Medal and the Ranger Tab, among other awards and decorations.
