She also oversees DIA's Mentor Protégé Program, 8(a) Program, and Subcontracts Management. Previously, Ms. Mumford was the Resource Management Office Chief in DIA's Science and Technology Directorate, a Senior Contracts Manager for a large defense contractor, and served as a contracting professional for two other federal agencies.

"Contractors, including thousands of 8(a) businesses, already play a vital role in supporting the U.S. national security missions," said Suzanne Wilson Heckenberg, president of INSA and ISNF. "However, we know there is still much work to be done to diversify the pipeline of businesses serving IC and DoD stakeholders."
