Join colleagues from across the nation for Wednesday Wisdom on March 10 from 4:30 - 5:15 pm ET. Dave Frederick, the Executive Director for the U.S. Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM), will be joining INSA for a virtual discussion addressing the current challenges facing the USCYBERCOM and Executive Director Frederick's priorities.
The conversation will also focus on USCYBERCOM's operations defending the DoD network, the cyber capabilities it provides, and the role it plays in defending U.S. critical infrastructure.
About Dave Frederick
Dave Frederick is the Executive Director for the United States Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM), the highest-ranking civilian and third in command at USCYBERCOM. Previously, Mr. Frederick served as Deputy Director of the Cybersecurity Directorate, charged with preventing and eradicating threats to U.S. National Security Systems and critical infrastructure. From 2016-2018, he served as Chief of Strategic Counter Cyber Operations in the Cybersecurity Operations Group. He represented NSA at the National Security Policy Coordination Committee for cyber matters and has held several leadership positions at NSA since he first joined the agency in 1996. Prior, Mr. Frederick served in the U.S. Army as a signals intelligence analyst and Korean linguist.
Mr. Frederick has been awarded Presidential Rank Awards, the National Intelligence Superior Service Medal, a key foreign partner's National Security Service Medal, and the NSA/CSS Meritorious Civilian Service Award, amongst other Joint and Army military awards.
