Whether new or not so new to the IC, we invite you to join 150+ early to mid-career professionals at our Speed Mentoring event on Monday, October 23 from 5:00-9:00 pm at the INSA/NRECA Conference Center in Arlington, VA.

LtGen Dimitri Henry, USMC, will keynote this popular program, which connects students and early- to mid-career professionals with established leaders from across the intelligence, defense, and national security community. In his remarks, Gen. Henry will reflect on his career journey, as well as share advice and career tips.

How it Works!

Following LtGen Dimitri Henry's opening remarks, attendees split up into small groups, rotating tables 4-5 times to learn from mentors with diverse skillsets, backgrounds, and career paths.

With opening, mid-event, and closing networking receptions, the event offers ample time to build relationships and foster career enhancing connections.

Supported by INSA's Intelligence Champions Council, Speed Mentoring provides an opportunity for next-generation leaders to build relationships and discuss career-related questions with executives from across government, industry, and academia. In a small-group setting, mentors discuss their careers paths, share advice, and address mentees’ questions.

Mentees include undergraduate and graduate students seeking to understand how to break into the intelligence field, early and mid-career professionals seeking a career change, and other intelligence professionals interested in building connections across the community.
