Alex gave his life for us in the line of duty while serving in the Marines near Fallujah in Iraq. The Scholarship Fund, administered in conjunction with the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors, provides Outward Bound scholarship opportunities for young survivors of military men and women who were killed in action.  Alex was a former instructor at Colorado Outward Bound and planned to return upon completion of his military service. For more information about the Alex Wetherbee Scholarship please visit www.outwardbound.org.

INSA would like to thank Alex’s parents, Harry and Doris, as well as his wife, Heather, for their sacrifice and for allowing us to share in the celebration of Alex’s life through this event.
