INSA Welcomes Six to Board of Directors, Five to Board of Advisors

ARLINGTON, VA (November 2, 2016) – The Intelligence and National Security Alliance (INSA) has announced six new members to its Board of Directors, which is responsible for strategic and business oversight of INSA operations and planning. The new directors are:


  • Babs Doherty, President and CEO, Eagle Ray
  • Duncan Greene, Vice President and General Manager, BAE Systems
  • Jeff Handy, President and CEO, Fulcrum IT Services
  • Linnie Haynesworth, Sector Vice President and General Manager, Cyber and Intelligence Mission Solutions, Northrop Grumman Corporation
  • Anthony Moraco, CEO, Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC)
  • Leigh Palmer, Executive Vice President, Intelligence Group, CSRA

INSA also named the following five members to its Board of Advisors, which provides additional vision and guidance for INSA activities:


  • Peggy Agouris, Dean, College of Science, George Mason University
  • John DeFreitas, Executive Vice President, National Services Group, CACI
  • Barbara Fast, President and CEO, BGF Enterprises
  • Orlando Figueredo, Vice President, National Security Segment, Hewlett Packard Enterprise
  • Harold “Hal” Smith, Managing Director, Intelligence Practice, Accenture Federal Services

INSA Chairman of the Board Letitia Long said, “INSA has experienced unprecedented growth in recent years, from membership to program offerings. A strong Board of Directors and Board of Advisors is essential to ensuring this growth can be sustained long term, which is why I am pleased to welcome these senior leaders from the private sector and academia. These new board members have a deep understanding of the Intelligence Community and great insight into how INSA can best support the IC and its members.
