4th Annual Big Data for Intelligence Symposium

DSI’s Big Data for Intelligence Symposium is designed as an educational and training “Town Hall” forum that will provide members of the Intelligence Community, U.S. military commands, government agencies, academia, and technology providers the opportunity to explore more effective and efficient ways of leveraging the power of big data for intelligence processing and exploitation purposes.

The Nysmith School, 13625 EDS Dr, Herndon, VA

A free, exciting and all-day forum that equally engages children, parents, and teachers, coupled with corporate, government, academia and non-profit executives alike from the STEM fields. Activities for the day include hands-on children activities such as student robotics teams, flight simulator competitions, 3-D printers and other science and mathematics exhibits. Attendees will also find information about government and industry high school and college STEM internships.

National Intelligence University President Announces Retirement

National Intelligence University President Dr. David Ellison announced his intention to retire from the Presidency of NIU in late August 2017 at the opening convocation ceremony of the 2017-2018 academic year. The announcement comes as the university prepares for the move of its main campus from Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling in southeast Washington, D.C., to a newly refurbished facility in Bethesda, MD in the fall of 2016.
