Engagement of college and university academic leadership with public and private members is vital to INSA’s mission to provide the intelligence and national security communities with a non-partisan catalyst for public-private partnerships which identify, develop and promote creative solutions. INSA membership is composed of an unparalleled community of experts that serve on Councils and Task Forces in their personal capacity to develop creative, innovative and timely solutions to the intelligence and national security issues facing the United States.
INSA’s Intelligence Champions Council (ICC) supports students and young professionals who are developing careers in the field of intelligence through inclusion, involvement and empowerment. The Council’s goals are to foster a dialogue between members of the Intelligence Community (IC) at different stages of their careers and across organizational boundaries.
Additionally, INSA has a robust intern program that supports INSA staff and INSA’s Councils and Task Forces. While here, interns gain valuable experience in research, writing, marketing and event coordination while also gaining significant exposure to Intelligence Community (IC) professionals, leaders, and current issues and trends. Interns work with seasoned IC leaders and INSA’s membership on a day-to-day basis to help INSA maintain its commitment to collaboration and education.
